Travelling With Animals?
When You Make Your Reservation, it is best practice to inform the front desk that you are traveling with an animal. While we personally love animals, Albergo Allegria is an allergen-free property and therefore, it is NOT suitable for pets.
Emotional Support Animal (ESA) or Therapy Animal: If you are travelling with an ESA/Therapy Animal, please call so we can discuss room assignment availability. ESA/Therapy Animals are permitted to stay in non-carpeted, private entrance rooms, like Room 17 through 21. Well-behaved ESA/Therapy Animals are welcome to stay at a rate of $50 per animal, per night.
Damages to the room and furnishings are not included in the animal fee and will be assessed on an individual bases based upon replacement value, cleaning, or repair cost.
**Animals cannot be left unattended in rooms when departing the hotel property. Animals must be kept on a leash, under your control, at all times around the property for the safety of your animal, and other guests. Your animal must be curbed while on the hotel grounds, and there is a designated area in our garbage shed for disposal bags.
SERVICE DOGS: If travelling with a Service Dog, please call us so we can ask federal regulation questions and discuss best room options for your individual needs. Legitimate service dogs as defined under ADA and Department of Justice specifications, will be welcomed while completely trained and not retired, nor in training. In order to ensure your needs, and those of your service dog are being met, your innkeeper will speak with you directly and follow up with the hotel’s Service Dog protocol. Per the ADA and Department of Justice definitions, Therapy Animals, Emotional Support Animals, and Pets are NOT Service Dogs.
The ADA has regulations in place that protect the service dog handler, and the hotel, as well as its guests and employees. Please be aware of ADA, Federal, and Local agency regulations. Arriving with a fraudulent service dog(s) will result in your reservation being cancelled and your deposit being forfeited.

Number of People in a Room?
Since COVID-19, our overnight hotel occupancy has been reduced and the majority of our rooms have a two person maximum. As of Spring 2022, three rooms can accommodate three people; Room #14, Room #15, and Room #16 which offer a king bed, and a floor-level roll out twin bed. People or Person(s) is defined as: anyone between the age of 0-100 years old. All previous additional beds have been removed, and an appropriate arrangement has been made in order for guests to enjoy meals in their guest room if they chose to do so. For those wishing to travel with more people, you may reserve multiple rooms. Click on Adjacent Rooms on the FAQ page, or we can assist in helping you select rooms that are nearby each other. Arriving with an additional person(s) may result in your reservation being cancelled upon check in, or being required to book an additional room if one is available.
What are Check In/Check Out Times?
We are Innkeepers that live onsite and are available to our guests 24 hours a day. When booking, let us know your estimated arrival time and we will do our best to assure your room will be ready for you. It is common practice that our rooms are sparkling clean and ready to check into by 4:00pm. Check out time is 11:00am.
Housekeeping?
Gratuities for our efficient and service-minded housekeeping staff are not included in the room rates. Suggested housekeeping gratuity is $4/per person/per day of lodging. You may leave an amount you deem appropriate on your credit card upon check out, or in your guest room. These ‘hidden behind the scenes’ hardworking staff members appreciate your generosity. Although, DAILY HOUSEKEEPING is not provided, this department works diligently so your guest room is perfectly ready for your arrival.
Parking?
The Albergo Allegria inn’s parking lot provides ample free parking. Let us know if you need more than one space. Electric Vehicle drivers, give us a call and we can tell you about our outdoor outlets you can plug into!
Driving Directions?
Weddings / Groups / Reunions?
There are a number of beautiful wedding venues in our area; the hotel is not equipped to host ceremonies or receptions onsite. Being a 21-room property, having a number of rooms that are ‘all together’ effects the other guests’ experience; common areas and the breakfast room are unintentionally capitalized by groups leaving non-group guests overcrowded and pushed aside. For this reason, we do not offer group room blocks. Our goal is to have all our guests feel welcomed.
Conference Venue?
Our first floor parlor offers a relaxed and intimate atmosphere conducive to small group sessions, and our breakfast room offers ample space for presentations and larger sessions. All of our guestrooms have a full private bath, HDTV/DVD, and complimentary property-wide WiFi. Enjoy a garden-to-table ala cart breakfast menu, complimentary soft drinks, hot beverages, and fresh baked coffee break treats with your conference plan reservation.
You’ll work hard, but when you’re ready to play hard, Windham New York offers year-round adventure for the outdoor enthusiast.
Cell Phones Service?
Internet Access?
Climate Control?
All guest rooms feature individual thermostats to control heat. A/C units are operable only during the Summer months; electric fireplaces are operable all year.
Items Left Behind?
Check your room carefully for all belongings before checking out. Forgotten items will only be mailed back if you call within 2 weeks of your departure date. Their postage can be charged to your credit card number with a $5 minimum fee.
Massage Oils?
If you bring them, indulge! Just ask for a beach towel, as massage oils will ruin the bedding.
Rates Changing?
The rates fluctuate throughout the year. Like the airlines, an algorithm will decrease or increase the per night fee taking into account weekday vs. weekend lodging, the time of year, holiday periods, and simply supply and demand of available rooms. However, the BEST Guaranteed Rates will always be found here, on our independent website. It’s best practice to type into your browser, albergoallegria.bedandbreakfastspot.com to ensure a third party is not hijacking your search.
Which rooms are next to each other?
If you are traveling with multiple people, there are rooms that are next to each other. Although they are not adjoining, they are adjacent. Some, the doors almost touch. Here’s the list:
- Room 1 and Room 13
- Room 6, Room7, and Room 8 (end of hallway, its own alcove)
- Room 9, Room 10
- Room 12 and Room 15
- Room 11 and Room 14
The hotel layout is as follows:
- Ground floor west hallway: Rooms 1, 2, 13
- Ground floor east hallway: Rooms 4, 5
- Second floor west hallway: Rooms 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
- Second floor east hallway: Rooms 3, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16
30’ behind the main house in a separate building are Rooms 17-21. All are under the same roofline, but each with their own private entrance. Two sets of units have one porch, divided by a railing and vertical awnings. These would be Room 18 and 19; Room 20 and 21.
